Will there be vegan options in checkpoints?

Yes, there will be a limited selection of plant-based options, although we recommend that you bring a reasonable amount of your own preferred nutrition for any specific dietary needs.

If I would like to volunteer how can I do that?
The race is organised by over 50 volunteers and if you are looking to volunteer to learn more about the trail running community, run a runner in the race and want to spend some time helping out, please see the volunteers link on the home page.
Where should I park on Race Day?

Parking is available within walking distance of the start of the race but we strongly recommend you to use public transportation (see Transport section on homepage).

Kan jeg løbe med en kørestol eller andet transportmiddel?

Nej desværre ikke – ruten er ikke velegnet for den slags køretøjer og hjælpemidler.

Can my dog join the race?

Dogs are not allowed in the race.

Can you recommend a hotel or do you have hotel discounts?

Please refer to the “Practical information” page of the homepage.

 

How can I make sure that I am registered and/or that I entered all my information?

You can check your registration application at any time with the registration number indicated in the confirmation e-mail you received.

 

Can I give away or sell my bib?

You can transfer your bib to another competitor up until April 10th. You or the new owner of the BIB will have to pay a small extra fee.

 

Can I register on site or on the day of the race?

On-site registration is not allowed for trail running events. Ensure you register before online registration closes on April 19th.

Is there a waiting list after registration has closed?

Once the registrations are closed, it is no longer possible to obtain a number. The maximum capacity has been reached. There is no waiting list, even in case of cancellation.

I have to cancel my participation to the EcoTrail Copenhagen®. Can I get a refund?

No, but with a small extra fee you can change the name of the participant.

Can I retrieve another person’s bib?

Yes, as long as you can provide the following:
1. Their bib number
2. Their proof of identity (copy or original)

Can I retrieve my bib at the race departure area?

Yes, it is the only place you can.

Can I have my bib sent to me before the race?

No. All race numbers must be collected in person either the day before the race or on race day.

Will my personal belongings be taken care of at the start of the race?

Yes. Each runner can leave their personal belongings in their own bag at the race departure area. The bag must hold the sticker provided with the race bib.

 

Where can I retrieve my personal belongings after the race?

Bags can be retrieved near the race arrival area until 10.00 pm the day of the race.

 

Where can I retrieve my finisher certificate?

Your finisher certificate will be available on the results page of our website a few days after the race.

Will there be photos of the race?

Yes, professional photographers will cover the event and the photos will be posted online after the event.

What’s included in my registration?

Your race number with timing chip, medal or finisher's gift, t-shirt, food and refreshments at the refreshment stations and at the finish.

When is cut off/what´s the time limit?

Time limits can be found on each respective race page.

Can my friends and family assist me during the race?

The EcoTrail® Copenhagen requires runner to be semi-autonomous. Assistance is only allowed at aid stations.

How can my friends and family follow me on the course?

All practical information about access to the various aid stations is provided in the companion roadbook (available for download on the event page of the race).
